WHY WOOD?
-Not wood, IRONWOOD! Sustained harvest South American hardwood (IPE) lasts 30 to 50 years even untreated. This amazing timber species maintains cable tension loads like steel, and offers a more attractive and cost effective alternative to aluminum or steel top railings. Ipe is impervious to rot and insects, and can be oiled or left untreated.
